Processing. Now part of Relativity.

Relativity 7.5 brings complete processing capabilities to fully featured review. Relativity Processing is tightly integrated into Relativity as a tab in your workspace, so you can process and review data without ever leaving the system. It makes use of the same features you’re used to for review, such as creating charts and graphs for your projects with Pivot. A simple, intuitive processing workflow allows you to quickly begin ingesting data into the system while a central dashboard makes it easy to monitor your progress.

Assisted Review. The flexible, transparent workflow.

Relativity Assisted Review is now part of your global applications catalog. You can run multiple Assisted Review projects in the same workspace and begin a new project at any point during review, switching easily between a manual and a computer-assisted process. You can use Assisted Review to make determinations on responsiveness or issues, while a new console, additional auditing capabilities, enhancements to the overturn workflow, and new graphical reports make the process even more transparent and easier to manage.

Analytics. More speed. More control.

In 7.5, Relativity Analytics gains improvements to speed, index quality, and management. The use of temporary directories and the ability to run categorization jobs in parallel lead to faster index builds and training. Analytics servers are now registered Relativity servers and can be managed through resource pools. New auditing capabilities are also included to provide more detail and to simplify troubleshooting.

Usability. Your life in Relativity, improved.

From the ability to cancel long-running searches to progress bars, redesigned and more intuitive consoles, and a new horizontal child tab display, user experience was carefully considered in 7.5. Tooltips, revised help text, and friendly error messages make it easier to act on the information you receive from Relativity. To better manage searches, you can now mass move saved searches, and will receive a warning when trying to include personal searches as part of a nested public search.

Infrastructure. Better management of your agents and servers.

Agents can now be created, deployed, and moved between hardware resources from within Relativity. Enhanced auditing provides better visibility into agent use and rich historical data for troubleshooting. Analytics servers are now registered Relativity servers and can be managed through resource pools. A new standalone application included in 7.5, Relativity Performance Dashboard, allows you to analyze and monitor the health of your environment in real time.

PressDocumentationRelease Overview

It's easier than ever to build on Relativity.

Relativity is a platform that allows litigation support professionals, independent consultants, and third-party software providers to design and build applications to extend its functionality. Relativity 7.5 offers significant enhancements for developers, designed to make it easier than ever to build on top of the platform.

With better coverage of APIs, you can:

  • Create batch workflows with full control of batches and batch sets
  • Download and create single documents
  • Execute and return results of a saved search or view
  • Script and include agents in your Relativity Applications
  • Read or perform a query on views and layouts
  • Write to the error log, so applications can report errors to end users

Easier setup and configuration allows you to:

  • Create validated code by using DTOs
  • Eliminate lookup steps when developing applications by using enhanced Globally Unique ID (GUID) setup options
  • Reference pre-existing scripts by name, instead of ID
  • Use the same coding syntax for the Relativity Services API (RSAPI) and event handlers

Additionally, existing and new documentation is now available in an improved, web-based format to make the SDK easier to consume.
