June 3, 2010 - Nearly half of the kCura staff took to the streets of Chicago last Thursday to participate in the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Corporate Challenge, a charity 3.5 mile run/walk benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Team kCura had an average time of 34:25.
kCura’s strongest finisher was Nick Robertson, who tore through the course with a time of 22:01. Great job, Nick! If it wasn’t for the post-race food and drink in the kCura hospitality tent, we may have never seen him after the start line.
Total participation for the event was 19,865 runners and walkers from 557 Chicagoland businesses, an inspiring 16-percent improvement over the 17,007 that gathered in 2009.
Our special thanks to the Greater Chicago Food Depository for all their wonderful work. We’re already looking forward to the 2011 Corporate Challenge.
