August 30, 2010 - In this latest release of Relativity (codenamed “PiRDO”) we’ve added one of the user community’s most frequently-requested features: keyboard shortcuts. Users can now turn on keyboard shortcuts to browse through documents, navigate search hits, and apply coding values. Keyboard shortcuts accelerate the document review process by allowing reviewers to make faster coding decisions and spend less time on unnecessary mouse movements.
Until now, the clickable tables and charts of
Relativity Pivot were available in review database, but not in the custom applications created inside of Relativity (using
Dynamic Objects). With the release of Relativity 6.6, the data analysis functionality of Relativity Pivot is now available in all custom applications built in Relativity. For instance, a Relativity user may want to create a bar chart to quickly visualize the amount of media assets collected per custodian. This can now be achieved through Dynamic Objects by creating a custom media tracking application and then using Relativity Pivot to create a bar graph that visually represents the media collected per custodian.
Additionally, we have added a starter template to the standard installation of Relativity. The starter template comes pre-populated with the most commonly-used case configurations. Administrators and project managers can use it without modification to quickly get a new case off the ground, or customize it to adapt to the unique nature of a case.
Finally, this release includes auto-detection of load file encoding on import, which reduces the quality control time associated with loading data.
Relativity 6.6 is available for deployment beginning this Friday, September 3, 2010.
