Press Release – Chicago, IL and New York, NY – October 25, 2012 – kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP has licensed Relativity.
Kasowitz is a national law firm primarily focused on complex commercial litigation. As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity will allow the firm to be flexible in addressing the evolving needs of their clients.
“We believe Relativity gives us the technological edge to stay ahead of the curve in e-discovery,” said Ted Ferguson, chief information officer at Kasowitz. “We’ve chosen to invest in Relativity because of the support, resources, and innovation that come with it.”
With Relativity, Kasowitz can create and automate custom workflows. During review, the firm’s case teams can leverage a complete set of text analytics capabilities, including computer-assisted review, to quickly locate relevant documents.
“Our attorneys want to get to the facts of a case right away, and Relativity will make it easy for them to pinpoint crucial information and begin strategizing early on,” said Joseph Cusumano, litigation support manager at Kasowitz. “Relativity is easy to use, as well, and lets us approach each matter with the most efficient workflow possible.”
“We are excited that Kasowitz has adopted Relativity,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We look forward to helping them provide an exceptional Relativity experience for their clients.”
