Leading business law firm brings kCura’s e-discovery platform in-house, purchased from DiscoverReady

Press Release – Chicago, IL and Winston-Salem, NC – May 8, 2012 – kCura, developers of the e-discovery platform Relativity, today announced that Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP has purchased a license of Relativity through Relativity Certified Reseller, DiscoverReady. Installed behind Womble Carlyle’s firewall, Relativity will be offered firm-wide through Womble Carlyle’s BullDox team, a group of trained attorneys and paralegals dedicated to e-discovery. DiscoverReady will also provide additional hosting as necessary.

Womble Carlyle chose Relativity for the following benefits:

•   Relativity Assisted Review – Relativity’s computer-assisted review workflow can magnify the efforts of Womble Carlyle’s review teams by allowing them to train Relativity to make decisions based on their expertise.

•    Relativity Applications – By building applications within the software, such as a chain of custody or media tracking system, Womble Carlyle can meet the project management needs of their case teams.

•    Ease of Use – Womble Carlyle’s attorneys can be up and running in Relativity with minimal training, and can create new issue tags on the fly as they are identified.
