Press Release, Chicago, IL – May 4, 2009 – kCura Corporation announced today the release of the latest version of their litigation support platform Relativity. The release features major upgrades to Analytics, adds an integrated transcript viewer, allows for the creation of personal coding and searching interfaces, and much more.
“Relativity 5.0 is another step forward in the evolution of the platform, and we are excited to bring a number of brand new feature sets to our clients,” said Andrew Sieja, CEO of kCura. “We spent a lot of time listening to what our end users and partners needed to do their job better. I think they are going to be excited with the release.”
Relativity Analytics, the integrated concept search and categorization features, now gives users the ability to cluster (sort) groups of documents on the fly, and then browse the results of a search or an assigned batch of documents by concept. “The trick to getting Analytics widely adopted is making it easy to use in the software,” said Andrew Sieja. “I believe we’ve achieved that with 5.0.” Relativity Analytics allows users to cluster documents by applying the same techniques used in Relativity to batch code or batch print documents. In addition to clustering, a newly integrated transcript viewer has been added to Relativity, which allows users to load and view transcripts, and then search both transcripts and documents together in one easy step. Additionally, users can now maintain their own personalized searches, views of data, and layouts of coding information without affecting the experience of other users in the system. Relativity’s one-step batching process has been improved to support hundreds of securable batch sets, allowing for a single, highly scalable interface for assigning document batches to reviewers.
Relativity is a powerful, yet easy-to-use litigation support platform that is winning converts among the most prestigious law firms in the world. In addition to the exciting new features of Relativity 5.0 is an interface that is almost completely customizable between users and groups, the ability to TIFF on the fly, powerful searching, world-class scalability, and complete Unicode compliance, giving Relativity the power to handle the industry’s largest and most complex reviews.
