Relativity is a web-based review platform designed to be centrally managed for ease of administration. The platform is developed on a .NET framework with an MS SQL back-end database.

Because Relativity runs on a standard Microsoft infrastructure, IT professionals are able to easily integrate Relativity into their existing environment without specialized training. The two prerequisites for installing and running Relativity, the Relativity Web Client and the Web Client Manager are Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0 and Microsoft C++ 2005 Redistributable. Relativity requires an Internet Explorer 7 or above web browser. Both terminal server and web browser technology can be used to allow reviewers to connect to Relativity databases. The Relativity web environment is secured with 128-bit SSL encryption technology. Relativity also integrates with RSA token authentication. The Relativity client services team works closely with IT professionals to develop a deployment plan that optimizes the web-hosting environment.
