April 1, 2011 – Method 1.8, the latest version of kCura’s web-based legal hold management application, is now available. The new release contains several enhancements designed to make Method easier to use. Updates in Method 1.8 include the following functionality:
- Administrators have the ability to cancel holds, making it easier to manage workspaces and improving the accuracy of reports.
- To enhance security and improve the experience of hold owners, the Method interview portal is read-only for employees viewing closed holds and is deactivated for hold participants who have left the organization.
- Method workspaces can now be in a distributed database environment, providing more granular control of server resources.
- Method now fully supports Unicode throughout the application.
