December 15, 2010 - Version 1.4 of kCura’s flexible legal hold management solution, Method, is now available. Method 1.4 includes new features and improvements that were designed to address feedback from Method users, and to provide hold administrators with tools to better simplify and organize their workflow and notification processes.

Method 1.4 allows hold administrators to schedule the delivery of e-mailed question sets to hold participants on a recurring basis, saving time and improving the efficiency of their legal holds. The release also gives hold administrators the ability to associate notes in Method with individual actors for tracking purposes.

Additionally, individuals managing a hold can now send test e-mails to verify that their E-mail Configuration Library settings are correct. “From” and “Reply to” e-mail fields have been added to this library for easier setup of notification settings.

December 8, 2010 - kCura has updated the format of our weekly Method webinars. Based on feedback from attendees, we’ve found that they benefit more from an overview of the web-based application and how it can streamline the legal hold process, rather than simply an end user training. To that end, we’ve changed our webinar format to a 30-minute overview session comprised of the following topics:

  • Background
  • Roles: Hold Owners, Custodians, and Alert Groups
  • Workspaces: Organization and Security
  • Hold Workflow
  • Method Interview Portal
  • Reporting
  • Closing a Hold

Sessions include a live demo of the software and time for questions and answers. To register for a Method overview webinar, please visit our Documentation & Training webpage.
