January 7, 2011 - Method 1.5 is now available. The newest release of kCura’s legal hold management application features workflow and performance enhancements, new reporting functionality, and the ability to preview information before it goes live.

Workflow enhancements to the Method Console, which is the application’s centralized tool for hold management actions, have simplified the steps needed to add notices and questionnaires. Additionally, Method 1.5 includes a field that allows administrators to designate legal holds to a particular client or individual, making it easier to organize multiple holds.

In response to feedback from Method users, kCura has created the ability for Method to automatically send hold administrators a status report that contains granular information about hold participants and outstanding reminders to help administrators gauge hold progress.

Finally, hold owners now have the ability to view the final layout of their communications within Method. They can preview the Method Interview Portal, which is where hold participants access their notifications and questionnaires. They can also send test e-mails.
