Steve joined kCura in 2008 as the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the smooth functioning and financial stability of the organization, providing employees and customers with the appropriate tools and processes needed to properly execute operations. He has 35 years of experience in executive management, operations, marketing, strategic planning and organizational transformation. Steve began his communications and information technology career in the Bell System, and was integral in the development, leadership and success of several start-up businesses for Cincinnati Bell, serving in the role of CEO and president of the new businesses. He later moved to Convergys Corporation, a global outsourcer of software systems, as president of their telecom solutions practice. Steve also served as president of Convergys’ international outsourcing business from 2002 to 2005. He was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Idearc Inc., a directory publishing and web-based advertising company. At Idearc, he served on the Audit Committee and was chairman of the Compensation Committee. Steve earned his undergraduate degree in engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology and his MBA at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
