Jay joined kCura in 2010 as the Chief Strategy Officer. He has more than a decade of experience in litigation support technology, and has worked in multiple roles on some of the largest e-discovery projects in the world. Jay also serves as head of the advice@kCura team, which provides insight and guidance on the customization of e-discovery workflows to meet the individual needs of various case teams. Before joining kCura, Jay was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigative & Dispute Services practice. Prior to Ernst & Young, Jay founded Advocate Solutions, Inc., where he architected Discovery Cracker—the world’s first shrink-wrapped e-discovery application. Jay’s software applications have been recognized by numerous surveys and awards in the litigation support and e-discovery fields. As a speaker, Jay has presented on text analytics and predictive coding, as well as Relativity’s Application Ecosystem, for several panels, webinars, and podcasts. His specialties also include legal hold, processing, document management, emerging technologies, and database design. Jay earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia College and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
